The VDA 2010 Girls program continues to prove itself as a premier destination for player development, with a staggering six players recently selected to participate in the U.S. Soccer Under-17 Youth National Team (USYNT) Identification Center in Manassas. This prestigious event brings together the top talent in the region, providing players the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of U.S. Soccer talent scouts and national team coaches.
Representing VDA at the event were Harlow Barnhart (Forward), Kristin Henly (Defender), Caelyn Jimenez (Midfielder), Selin Pehlivan (Midfielder), Chaya Viswanath (Defender), and Ryder White (Forward). Their selection underscores the hard work, dedication, and technical growth that these athletes have demonstrated throughout the season. Being identified for a National Team ID Center is a significant milestone in any young player's soccer journey, offering a glimpse into the pathway toward international competition.
For the 2010 Girls squad, these call-ups are a testament to the team's high-performance environment.
