    VDA 2010 Girls standout Caelyn Jimenez netted two goals for the Dominican Republic in their dominant 7-0 victory over Dominica in Round One of the 2026 CONCACAF Women's U-17 Qualifiers.

    VDA 2010 Girls midfielder Caelyn Jimenez made an immediate impact on the international stage, scoring twice for the Dominican Republic in their commanding 7-0 victory over Dominica in the opening match of Group A at the 2026 CONCACAF Women's U-17 Qualifiers.

    Jimenez opened the scoring in the 8th minute, capitalizing on a cross from teammate Emelie Asenjo to put Las Quisqueyanas ahead early. She added her second goal in the 47th minute with a stunning right-footed strike from outside the box, showcasing the finishing ability that has made her a standout at the club level.

    The Dominican Republic's dominant performance at Estadio Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua, Nicaragua featured additional goals from Blair Vera, Giocarla Durán (brace), and Jabes Martínez (brace).

    Round One of the 2026 CONCACAF Women's U-17 Qualifiers features 22 teams competing across six groups, with group winners and the two best second-place finishers advancing to the Final Round. The tournament serves as qualification for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.
